About Mairin Petrone
Mairin Petrone, CEO and Founder of Petrone Events, has been in the events industry for over 30 years and grew up volunteering for, participating in, and producing some of Pittsburgh's most beloved events.
She currently serves at the President and Executive Director of the Pittsburgh Irish Festival, Vice President of the Association of Irish & Celtic Festivals, Development Director for Main Line Parent, Philadelphia Family, and Bucks County Parent Magazines, Booking Agent for social media famous, Ally the Piper, is a board member for the International Festival & Events Association Foundation, and does private event contracting and consulting through her company, Petrone Events.
She was previously part of the planning team responsible for some of Pittsburgh’s largest public events including Picklesburgh, Light Up Night, the Market Square Farmers Market, and Peoples Gas Holiday Market. Mairin also previously worked for several years as the Operations Manager for the Philadelphia Flower Show from the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.
Mairin was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA where she currently lives with her wife, Brittny, and daughter, Parker. She received both her BS in Marketing and Leadership/Change Management and Master of Business Administration from Duquesne University.
